Open for Business

Very little snow remaining in the town site.  Still plenty of snow in the trees and on the side of the main road coming into town.  The road is in terrible shape, check your speed.  The road is drying quickly, so I expect it to be graded before the May long weekend.

Barely any ice remaining on the lake.  Should be completely clear in the next couple of days.

Unlike last April, we haven't had any 'hot' days this month.  For the past two weeks the average daily high was about 14C and overnight low about -5.  Not much precipitation, and most of that falling as snow - all of it melting quickly.
