Very light dusting of snow overnight, and a few more scattered flakes in the morning. Though the daytime temps remained well below zero, somehow most of it melted away by early afternoon. The mostly blue skies, starting from just after 2pm, helped the melt, but didn't seem to help the temps.
The ice is just over 3" near the shore. I'll wait one more day before lacing up the skates.
