Partly cloudy morning, mostly cloudy afternoon with a moderate breeze throughout the day.
The ice wasn't going to keep me off the lake forever! Thicker than I thought though. The edges were thin and slushy, but it ramped up quickly. The translucent ice you see here in front of the kayak is about 3-4" thick. The white ice ahead is at least twice that.
As for the road to Bosk, it's starting to show through. Just a few warm days is all it needs.
