Arctic

Overnight low -26C, daytime high of -9C.

Yes, it really did hit -26C last night.  I was up at 4am putting more wood in the stove and the current temperature was -25.5C.  Mostly clear at sunrise, but the clouds moved in by 10am and dominated the remainder of the day.  Like yesterday, the high was reached early and the cold came back.  Shouldn't be as cold as last night though, the temperature has hovered about -12 since early afternoon.

The lake is completely frozen now (will hold the weight of a person easily), but the ice is of low quality - uneven with a bubbly crust.  Snowmobiles will be fine, skating not so much.
